Spectacular Man was never really in this race, breaking in 12th position and remaining near the back of the pack throughout the contest. He eventually crossed the finish line eleventh in the field of thirteen, beaten by more than twelve lengths.

Spectacular Man returned from his short layoff in good fashion. Da Man settled into fifth place while racing up the backstretch and moved passed two rivals down the lane. Spectacular Man looked to be second until caught in the final strides. A good effort on the return to racing.

Spectacular Man raced evenly throughout this contest. He broke in mid-pack and stayed there, dropping slightly back from the early pace. When it came time to make a run for the lead, Anthony asked but Da Man had no answer. Others closed faster than Spectacular Man, and he finished 6th, almost seven lengths off the winning time.
