Ice Cream Man

Was purchased and named (suggested by Terry B.) by the Virtual Owners Partnership the begining of Sept 2000, by private sale. A '98 Blush Rambler colt.

Ice Cream Man is a 2yo colt by European co-highweight Blush Rambler. Blush Rambler was a stakes winner in England and graded stakes placed in France England and Germany. Blush Rambler excelled at classic distances up to twelve furlongs. His most well known runner, Lord Flasheart is a mulitple graded stakes winner in France. Lord Flasheart also finished second in the French Derby this year.
The dam, Whip Cream is a multiple graded stakes placed mare. All three of her foals of racing age have raced, two have won. Ice Cream Man's full sister, Rambling Rose won in open allowance company in New York. She's also done a mile in 134:4 at Belmont this summer.
Ice Cream Man is a rangy colt with plenty of length in the body and legs. He's just starting into his 3yo growth spurt and is laying muscle over that large frame. He's well balanced front to back and carries a four inch overstride when walking. Ice is built to go long and improve with age. By both pedigree and build, he should love eight furlongs or more on the turf and possibly dirt.
